MLB.com Draft Tracker
MLB.com Draft Central
It is a significant step down this year in terms of Division II talent, if you are to go off the number of prospects on the draft tracker list and the number of Division II players who land in the top 200 this year. In 2015, we had 100 players appear on the pre-draft prospect list on MLB.com, and there were four players ranked in the top 200 prospects, including a pair of players inside the top 65. This season, only two Division II players land in the top 200, both near the tail end, and there are only 58 Division II players listed on the draft tracker prospect list before the draft begins. However, I don't know how accurate that is, considering the top Division II prospect, Millersville's Brandon Miller at #188 in the top 200, doesn't even appear on the list of prospects in the draft tracker.
With all that said, here are the scouting reports for the two players who appear in MLB.com's Top 200 prospects list, Millersville's Brandon Miller and California Baptist's Tyson Miller.
188. Brandon Miller - Millersville - RHP - Class: JR - 6'4" 195 lbs - DOB: 6/16/95
Scouting Grades: Fastball: 50 | Slider: 50 | Curveball: 45 | Changeup: 45 | Control: 55 | Overall: 45
It can sometimes be difficult for a Division II player to get noticed. Miller put himself on the map with an All-Star season in the Cape Cod League last summer, then kept right on dominating, en route to All-America honors and helping Millersville advance to the Division II Championship Tournament.
Miller is all about command, one who walked just 10 and struck out 100 during his regular season this spring. His fastball sits right around 90 mph and it plays up thanks to his abilty to move it to all quadrants of the zone. A nice little tight slider is his best offering, though it's not a huge strikeout pitch for him. His fringy curve is used more as a get-me-over pitch for strike one or as a chase pitch out of the zone with two strikes. He has feel for a changeup, but doesn't use it much.
While Miller has outstanding arm action and repeats his delivery well, a general lack of movement has some thinking he might end up in long relief. A team that saw him in the Cape, though, will give him every chance to make it as a back-end starter.
189. Tyson Miller - California Baptist - RHP - Class: JR - 6'4" 195 lbs - DOB: 7/29/95Scouting Grades: Fastball: 55 | Slider: 50 | Changeup: 50 | Control: 50 | Overall: 45
It can be hard sometimes for pitchers at small programs to get noticed by the scouting industry. Pitching extremely well in the Cape Cod League, as Miller did last summer, made everyone put Division II California Baptist on their must-see destinations this spring.
For the most part, Miller backed up his Cape showing with a strong junior season. The fact that he his starts came largely on Wednesdays or Thursdays actually helped him get seen more, as it didn't conflict with Division I weekend series. Tall and projectable, with loose actions and a lean, athletic body, the 6-foot-4 Miller will flash a fastball up to 93 mph, with the potential for more once he gets into a player development system. He'll show glimpses of a decent slider and has an average changeup to round out his three-pitch arsenal. Miller tends to throw strikes, though he is more control over command at this point.
The earliest a Cal Baptist player has ever been drafted was in 2014, when the Dodgers took Trevor Oaks in the seventh round. Miller's size and upside potential give him the chance to beat Oaks by a couple of rounds.
And below is the list of 58 players (with B. Miller not included for some reason) who appear on the MLB.com Draft Tracker list of prospects who are affiliated with a Division II school. By no means is this a comprehensive list of those we expect to get drafted over the next three days. Last year, 100 D-II players had their names on the draft tracker list and 84 players overall got drafted, many of which didn't appear on that initial list in the first place. I think we'll see over 60 players get drafted over the three days. We will be recapping the draft come Sunday to give everyone a look at who was drafted out of the world of Division II baseball.

This list is a joke. Joseph Mauldin had a 7.65 era and gave up 61 hits in 42 IP. Not to mention he plays in the worst D2 conference in the country.

It looks like you took a list of D-1 transfers and put them on this list.
I am sure this post wont get "approved"
Just know that this is an lackluster list.
